(Candidates need to attend at least 2 of the 3 days)
Cheer Tryouts Thursday, November 9, 2006

Mascot Tryout practices Nov. 13-14, Mascot Tryouts Wed. Nov. 15

Come on out! Don't be scared. The more candidates we have, the better pool we'll have to choose from. Even if you don't make it on, just trying out is an expericen that will be good for you, that you'll grow from. State rules dictate that there can only be 6 cheerleaders at Varsity games. If there are 8-12 candidates who are good enough, we'll be forced to have a JV squad.

More Jr Hi Wst Har

Bow wow wow yippee yo-yippie yea! Alison tries to stay warm on her box. I love the backs of those sweatshirts.

I wish I could say that Sam was enjoying the rain as much as she looks like she is in this shot. Brrrr. We're supposed to get our first snow tonight.

Varsity knuckleheads; "AppleJuice" and "Squwasha" are shocked, SHOCKED that Boyer Valley could beat West Harrison by 28-6!

Jr Hi vs. West Harrison

Josie has plenty of spirit, even in the cold and the rain
Even a tiny, bundled-up in blankets crowd needs someone to rally their spirit!

Or is Holi just smiling because there's a CAMERA near?

Junior High Cheer's big premier

Sam, Josie, Allison, Holli, and Tiffany- all 7th graders did a great job Tuesday at the game with Lo-Ma. Temps in the 90's- talk about Indian Summer.

Varsity helped coach Junior High's first game. Here Kensie ("Apple Juice") talks about how they're doing during half time.

Ali and Tiffany tumble at the same time- sychrinized kartwheels!

Holli showed a lot of moxi! Spirit, confidence, and leadership too- rock on!

Jersey Auction

Having fun before the soup-supper. Wow, I have to say that I am REALLY proud. This was the first squad I've had to dress-out AND the first squad to actually perform a chant at the jersey auction! Way to go girls! Loud and PROUD!

Brett auctioned off Cujo's head. Here he is with auctioneer John Scheben. Proud here too. Man, I'm gonna miss this kid. He's great with little kids and he helps me stay sane on drives to away games with all the hair spray, cell phones, make-up and giggles in the van. He's been mascot for 4 years now. Isn't that like 28 in dog years?
