I want to discourage cheerleaders from going to extremes like anorexia & bulemia. I want to encourage them that if they feel like they have to do something to lose or maintain their weight, it should be reasonable, gradual and sustained.
So, I'm a big guy and have been since I was a teen. I'd rather be a "big-loser," but guess what? There's only two things in all the world that help you do that. No pill, no puke, no starve...
Eating less and exercising more. I hate it too, but that's life.
